Meet others to discuss the challenges/opportunities of interreligious relationships. We are open to couples in their 20's and 30's who are dating or engaged, as well as singles and those from interfaith backgrounds. Jewish/non-Jewish couples are of particular interest, but all dual-faith unions are welcome.
Religion can be a hurdle whether a couple shares one or doesn't. Interfaith couples are often faced with issues such as: balancing 2 sets of holidays, how to raise children, dealing with disapproval from friends and relatives, conversion, and what to do when one partner is observant and the other is Agnostic/Atheist. We'll also discuss similarities and differences between religions and how communicating openly can help establish better understanding of each other and of the different faiths. Hopefully we will all learn something new and realize that we are not alone as we navigate the often choppy waters of dual-faith relationships.
